Tableware for every diseases
Eating quickly becomes a real challenge when the second hand is missing. That's why the innovative plate with tilt trick hides special functions behind its attractive exterior: A sloping inner base, which is bevelled towards the edge of the plate, ensures that the food reaches the fork or spoon more easily, so that it is also possible to eat with one arm. It is very suitable for main dishes as well as soups and is also ideal as an eating aid for children. This dining plate with auxiliary function is a special eating aid for seniors or people with handicaps, one-armed eating, in care, and for illnesses such as stroke, Alzheimer's, dementiaParkinson's and multiple sclerosis.

Firm stand
Eating with physical limitations or only one hand is not so easy without pushing the dishes in front of you. This is where the braking trick comes into play: an anti-slip ring is inconspicuously hidden under the bottom of the plate. Together with an inconspicuous overhang, it ensures that the plastic plate does not slip during eating.

Three functions in one
All in all, the plate with tilt trick combines three products in one: plate, plate edge raiser and anti-slip table set. This makes it possible for people with physical disabilities to eat independently without the tableware looking different from the rest of the service.
By the way: The special plates as well as the bowl with tilt trick are also available with "old" floral tableware designs to evoke positive memories. This can have a positive influence on eating behaviour, especially for people with dementia.

An excellent product
The plate with the tilt trick is a good example of what is known as universal design - the combination of functionality and optimal handling with shapely design. fIt is not only the customers who are convinced of this. This quality has also been recognised by the juries of several internationally renowned design awards.

Fantastic Support

My granny was living with an advanced dementia for almost eight years and eating independently has become difficult for her. Then we discovered the dementia set from Ornamin and in particular the plate with sloped base. My grandma has been able to eat her much-loved stews and soups again by herself and even put on weight before she died. With the usual aids she didn't feel comfortable, as she felt and knew they have been adaptive plates and cups. With the aids from Ornamin, she couldn't feel nor see a difference to "normal" tableware and didn't feel ashamed anymore while eating and drinking in front of us. I can only highly recommend the sloped base plate series!
